How it all started...
Trinity Chapel was planted in August 2004 as a result of a shared vision by founding pastor Ted Wueste and Christ Chapel Bible Church (Fort Worth) to influence, love, and serve the growing population in SW Fort Worth, Benbrook, and beyond.
Initially, Trinity Chapel met in space rented from The Gladney Center in SW Fort Worth and was blessed by the financial support from and co-leadership with Christ Chapel and its elders. Then in January 2008, with the blessing of Christ Chapel, Trinity Chapel became legally independent, elected its first elders, and later that spring appointed its first deacons.
In March 2008, Trinity Chapel had the opportunity to move from the Gladney Center to our current location.

How its going now...
In 2012 Trinity Chapel’s founding pastor was called into ministering in a new capacity as a leader in spiritual formation in Phoenix, Arizona. After several years of transition, through which God graciously provided leadership in many different ways, Jonny Norman became the lead pastor of Trinity Chapel in September of 2016.
God continues to lead Trinity Chapel towards His love and goodness, and toward seeking ways in which Trinity Chapel can influence, love, and serve our neighbors both near and far.

expanding our story...
Through God’s providence and generosity the church owns the building and opens the space for many other ministries to use each week, including Young Lives, a ministry to teen moms, Justin's Place, a ministry to single moms, and Nueva Esparanza, a Spanish-speaking congregation that meets on Sunday mornings. We also have a preschool, Kinder Kids, that meets each weekday.
