TCBC Kids

TCBC Kids serves kids from birth through fifth grade.

Our heart is to ensure that each child who enters is safe, feels loved, and encounters the Good News of Jesus at their developmental level. Kids in all stages and from all backgrounds are welcome, and our desire is to partner with parents and caregivers so they are equipped to lead their kids in their unique spiritual journeys.

The curriculum we use for ages 2 years-5th grade is The Gospel Project, which takes the kids through the entire Bible over the span of three years.
 
All TCBC Kids volunteers are screened, background checked, and trained in Ministry Safe practices in order to ensure the safety and security of each child in our program.

Here's what you'll do on Sunday morning:

Register your child at the registration desk in the Kid’s Wing (on your right when entering the building).

Place the name tag on your child’s back, and hold on to your pick-up tag until dismissal.

A host will direct you and your child to the classroom. (1st-3rd Graders will join their parents for the first half of the 10am service, then be dismissed to their class for the remainder of the service.)

There is programming for kids ages ages birth-3rd grade during both the 10 am Worship Service and the 11:15 Community Hour.

Our kids ministry is largely run by volunteers. All of our volunteers have completed MinistrySafe training and background checks.

For children birth-toddler age, we will learn about God's love through songs, books, and play. Snacks are provided for older infants and toddlers. Please alert the staff to any allergies.
Please bring diapers, wipes, change of clothes, pacifiers or comfort items, bottles/cups, and any feeding instructions.

For children ages two-three, we will learn about God's love using the Gospel Project Preschool curriculum. We will sing memory verse songs, do crafts, and have snack time. Snacks are provided. Please alert the staff to any allergies.

For children ages four-kindergarten, we will learn about God's love using the Gospel Project curriculum. We'll sing memory verse songs, do crafts, and have snack time. Snacks are provided; please alert the staff to any allergies.

1st-3rd graders will join their parents for the first half of the 10 am service. Just before the sermon, they will be dismissed to their own time of Bible class. If your child has a Bible, he or she can bring it; if not, we have plenty! Snacks are provided; please alert the staff to any allergies.
