Jesus described himself with powerful “I am” statements throughout the book of John. Each statement reveals him as the source of true fulfillment for every human heart. Christ says he is the true guide (Light of the World), the source of truth (“the way, and the truth, and the life”), the sustainer of life (Bread of Life).  But we often find common imitations and counterfeits to put in his place.

Jesus also lovingly reveals our identity with powerful "You are" statements. This series challenges us to examine our lives to see where we may be looking for other things or people to be the source of what only Christ can ultimately provide.
