connect. serve. grow.
The Outreach Ministry exists to put feet to TCBC’s Vision by creating opportunities for adults to connect, serve, and grow through reaching beyond the walls of TCBC into the community and the world.
MARCh outreach spotlight
The Outreach team is starting to provide an opportunity each month for the members of Trinity Chapel to get their feet wet volunteering at various local ministries. Our hope is for you to find a place where you can minister to others on a consistent basis.
Our focus in March is Justin’s Place. Justin’s Place works with single moms of all ages and their kids with the goal to impact the life of a child by empowering moms to grow mentally, spiritually and physically, in order to live a life free of crisis and to walk out of generational poverty with dignity. They believe that the life of the child cannot be fully restored until the life of the family is restored. The best thing that can be done for a child is to set his/her mom’s life on a firm foundation. This is not a quick fix, but a deep dive into their lives.
Volunteers build relationships with single moms and their kids who mainly live in the Stop Six neighborhood in East Fort Worth. Living in generational poverty, these moms feel isolated and have no goals for the future. They have a day to day survival mentality. The mentors in Justin’s Place are people who care about them and want them to succeed. They show them that God loves them and can be trusted.
The first Sunday of each month is their Moms’ Night Out, held at Trinity Chapel! Mom’s Night Out is a festive night of food, fellowship, crafts, games, friends and love… While the moms are enjoying their night out, their kids of all ages are taken care of and have their own play time with volunteers as well. Check out our events below to register for an opportunity to serve at Mom's Night Out!
